Dr. Jeff Almand was born in Eustis, Florida and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Mississippi in 1987. In 1991 he received his Doctor of Medicine from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Dr. Almand’s professional training in Orthopaedic surgery includes a completed Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Duke University Medical Center in 1997 and a Fellowship in total joint replacement with Indiana Orthopaedic Hospital. From 1997 through 2005 Dr. Almand was in private practice in Greenville, Mississippi, and he became Board Certified through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in 1999 with a special interest in total joint replacement of the hip and knee.
