Our state of the art digital MRI facility is equipped with the latest technology, and is located at the Main Clinic in Jackson and both the Jackson and Madison clinics feature digital X-Ray facilities.
Our imaging equipment
The Signa HDe 1.5 T 8-channel MRI system's imaging technology delivers consistent and reliable high-definition MR images. Exclusive GE applications and reconstruction capabilities provide excellent imaging speed, resolution and contrast for all applications. This unit was chosen for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
The Esaote e-scan MR system is an open extremity unit. It covers all these applications: foot/ankle, knee, shoulder, elbow, hand/wrist. The unique design and wide rotation patient table guarantees easy patient positioning, patient comfort, maximum stability and easy examination management.
The ddR Formula is Swissray's latest innovation in digital radiography systems. The ddR Formula features a c-arm design with the x-ray tube always centered to the detector, for fastest, most precise and convenient patient positioning.
The ddR Modulaire is a compact partially motorized direct radiography x-ray unit. It has a c-arm design that keeps the detector panel and tube always centered. This unit helps make patient positioning more precise and convenient.
Our Imaging Technologists
The radiology department at MSMOC consists of 7 registered technologists and 3 MR technologists. All 10 technologists are registered with ARRT, members of the ASRT, and licensed with the MS State Board of Health.
